I came across a photo of the light striking
the trees in the field behind my house. That field has been replaced by houses
and painting this scene brought back fond memories. The Claybord surface
allows for lifting and I lifted out the spaces between the tree trunks and
then glazed over them with yellow.
Note: Even though this is a watercolor, the surface has been
sealed and it can be framed without glass.
